The flag typically is not used with the coat of arms as the two bordering countries, Venezuela and Ecuador use the same colors and Ecuador uses its coat of arms, while Venezuela has stars to differentiate the three.
- The capital city of Colombia is Bogota with a population of over 7,600,000 people.
- Another city of Colombia is Medellin with a population just barely reaching 2,000,000.
