The Americas

The Americas, named after the Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci, has three parts to it: North, Central and South. The Americas are between two oceans; Pacific (West) and the Atlantic (East). Quick little fact, South America has the second largest river in the world known as the Amazon River.
